2 weeks agoMaverick, Greyson & Ella showcased exactly what the 10U Junior Cards are made of this weekend as they stood tall and battled their way to sweeping victories against the Malone Huskies (Win: 11-1), Massena Raiders (Win: 15-0) and Chazy Selects (Win: 8-1). Tough as nails and ready to prove it again next weekend against the Jr Catamounts & Saratoga. Let the games begin…

3 weeks agoGoalie Maverick Rivers selected defenseman Carson Taskin as player of the game versus Schenectady this morning. He was thankful for his teammate’s back-checking, 2 goals and an assist. Nice work!
In our second game against St. Albans, Carson Taskin passed the torch to Louis Tremblay. Big Lou did an awesome job of helping the team all day and even managed to put points on the board in both games!

4 weeks agoBirthday boy Maverick Rivers worked extra hard in net this morning and made some beautiful saves against the Hamburg Hawks.
Overall, it was a phenomenal weekend for our Jr Cards even though it was cut short with 3 wins and a loss, but trust and believe we will be back, Utica… and stronger than ever!

a month ago“Can’t nobody step on my pride, can’t nobody hold me down…”
Greyson Moffat clearly kept on moving against the Long Island Rebels this morning. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t keep this bright star from shining and scoring two well played goals!

a month agoPlayer of the game Brody VanNederynen chosen by Ella Monahan. Brody had a great game full of hustle! Stole the puck from Blue Knight’s defense to score his 1st goal of the season unassisted and got the monkey off his back. Brody also had a sweet pass to Louis Tremblay who sniped it post and in to give the Jr. Cardinals a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period. All the Jr. Cardinals played great and pulled out a squeaker to win 3-2.

a month agoHow many kids can say they won two games at the Niagara Falls tournament, got to meet the Buffalo Sabres players before they skated out AND ended up on the jumbotron at an NHL game all in one day?! YOLO!

a week agoTwo Double Headers and a Cardinals Teddy Bear Toss! In our second match up against the Vermont Jr. Catamounts this season, Max Studley delivered 3 goals right on time to lead us to a 9 -1 [W] before passing the MVP chain to Goalie Mav Rivers who valiantly defended double digit shots on goal for an 11-3 [W]. The kids then blew off some steam Saturday night at the Cardinals vs. Morrisville game with the time-honored tradition of the Teddy Bear toss.
Sunday morning we faced Saratoga where Gaborick Secore did more than earn his keep with 3 hard fought goals that resulted in a 9-2 [W]. We finished a jam-packed weekend with Max Rabideau and the rest of the team battling down to the very end in a 4-3 victory. Now go and stand tall in Montreal, Junior Cards!
